INKU Inkubator Sektorów Kreatywnych serdecznie zaprasza na wernisaż wystawy twórczości Igi Oliwiak, który odbędzie się 8 sierpnia 2025 roku o godz. 18:00.
Iga Oliwiak to artystka, podróżniczka i ilustratorka urodzona w Szczecinie, absolwentka Akademii Sztuki, prowadząca nomadyczny tryb życia i od lat dokumentująca świat poprzez szkice rysunkowe i malarskie, fotografie i wideo.
W podróży tworzy głównie w technice akwareli z gwaszem lub cokolwiek znajdzie pod ręką – od długopisu w gwiazdki po korę sosny w lesie. Jednak mając nieco więcej czasu i przestrzeni sięga także po farby olejne czy akrylowe.
Dotychczas profesjonalnie zajmowała się głównie ilustracją w branży gier i animacji – współpracowała przy międzynarodowych projektach takich jak nominowany do Oscarów film animowany „Twój Vincent” czy kultowa gra karciana Magic: the Gathering – jednak to w osobistych szkicownikach, autoportretach i pracach plenerowych powstających “tu i teraz” znajduje największe ukojenie.
Wystawa pod tytułem „Between the Reality & Fantasy” podzielona jest na dwie części:
》REALITY《
prezentuje osobiste szkicowniki artystki oraz wybrane prace plenerowe z ostatnich 10 lat jej podróży i życia. To wyjątkowa okazja, by zajrzeć do oryginalnych malarskich dzienników – dostępnych do przeglądania wyłącznie podczas wernisażu (8 sierpnia) oraz finisażu (29 sierpnia).
》FANTASY《
część poświęcona ilustracjom inspirowanym kulturami świata podkreślającym piękno i różnorodność z elementami fantastycznymi. Pełne kolorów, magii i światła, niektóre prace ożyją również w ultrafiolecie, dodając ekspozycji wymiaru wykraczającego poza rzeczywistość.
W ramach wydarzenia odbędzie się również:
– pokaz filmu artystki z sesją Q&A,
– weekendowe warsztaty malarskie (09-10 sierpnia),
– oraz 3 dni otwartych demonstracji malowania w plenerze (11-13 sierpnia) w przestrzeniach Szczecina.

INKU Incubator of Creative Sectors warmly invites you to the opening of an exhibition showcasing the work of Iga Oliwiak, taking place on August 8, 2025 at 6:00 PM.
Iga Oliwiak is an artist, traveler, and illustrator born in Szczecin, a graduate of the Academy of Art, living a nomadic lifestyle and documenting the world through sketchbooks, paintings, photography, and video.
While traveling, she mainly works with watercolor and gouache, or whatever she can find at hand – from a star-patterned ballpoint pen to pine bark found in the forest. When time and space allow, she also reaches for oil or acrylic paints.
Professionally, she has focused primarily on illustration for the game and animation industry – collaborating on international projects such as the Oscar-nominated animated film Loving Vincent and the popular card game Magic: the Gathering.
Still, it is in her personal sketchbooks, self-portraits, and plein-air works created “here and now” that she finds the greatest sense of peace and fulfillment.
The exhibition, titled “Between the Reality & Fantasy”, is divided into two parts:
》REALITY《
Presents the artist’s personal painted sketchbooks and selected plein-air works from the past ten years of her life and travels. This is a rare opportunity to flip through her original visual diaries – available for viewing only during the opening (August 8) and the closing event (August 29).
》FANTASY《
Focuses on illustrations inspired by cultures from around the world, celebrating beauty and diversity through a lens of imagination. Full of color, magic, and light – some of these pieces will even glow under UV light, adding a surreal, otherworldly dimension to the experience.
Additional events include:
– a screening of the artist’s film followed by a Q&A session,
– a weekend painting workshop (August 9–10),
– 3 days of live plein-air painting demonstrations (August 11–13) across different locations in Szczecin.
